The Body Departed

I loved this short story about a ghost who needs to atone for a long past sin before he can move on.

It is a very light story, no preaching or heavy moral lessons here, but a lighthearted and enjoyable read.

I have read several of J.R.Rains stories and he is often inclined to repeat passages and his characters beat themselves up endlessly, but I did not notice this habit in this Story. Perhaps the whole story was so light or so gripping that I did not notice, or perhaps the self criticism was more realistic to this story.....anyway.....

A light hearted and enjoyable read that sent me off to read more of J.R.Rains work.
